Baptist Church with the Rev. George Harbor officiating. Burial was to be at the oma Cemetery in Newellton iter direction of Richardson Home of Monroe. Mr.

Turner died Feb. 7 at his residence after a short illness. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. V. Singleton of Newellton; two sisters.

Mrs. Bertha Cee Pierce of New Orleans and Mrs. Nanty Gibson of 'Wellton. and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs.

Minnie Smith 1 ARM ER VILLE Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Smith, "ti. of Farmerivlle, wore to be' at 2:30 p.m. today ut Rocky Branch Church of Christ with Brothers Brantley and Leonard Gray officiating. Burial was to bo in Rocky Branch Cemetery under direction of First National Funeral Home here.

Mrs. Smith died Wednesday at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe after a brief illness. Survivors include one brother. Ollie Smith of Farmerville; and a number of nieces a nephews.

Pallbearers were to Charlie Hogg, Raymond Rugg, vtn Rugg, James Rogers. ton Howard and Jake Richardson. Mrs. Mary Foster WINNSBORO Funeral services for Mrs. Mary R.

Foster, 78. of Winnsboro, were to lie at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Crowville with the Rev. Robert McDonald and Denver Smith officiating. Burial was to he in Crowville Masonic Cemetery under direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home here.

Mrs. Foster died Wednesday at Franklin Parish Hospital after a short illness. Survivors include three sons, Allen Foster of West Monroe, J. W. Foster of Winnsboro and Alton Foster of Chicago, three daughters, Mrs.

Lois Ratcliff of Winnsboro, Mrs. Nancy Ford of Utica, and Mrs. Ramie LaFontine of Jacksonville, a sister, s. Josie Crawford of Manifest; two brothers, J. C.

Ratliff and Ben- furd Ratliff, both of Wes 12 grandchildren and ll great grandchildren. Pallbearers were to be Glen Williams. Charles Stewart, Kenneth Lillian, E. Kelly, Luther linier and Landis Parker. Mrs.

Mrs. Scott died at her residence Tuesday afternoon after a short illness. She was a resident of St. Joseph and a member of the Christ Episcopal Church of St. Joseph.

Survivors include her husband, John W. Scott Sr. of St. Joseph; two sons, J. W.

Scott Jr. of St. Joseph; and W. E. Scott of Houston, two 'daughters, Mrs.

Horace Curry of Newellton and Mrs. Elwood Groald of Sulphur; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers were to be Claude V. Clarke, John R. Coor, Knox Jones James A.
