SICKNESS Four-Year-Old Girl Dies of Malady Laid to By United OKLAHOMA CITY, March 10 arose in the minds oi city and county health officers here today regarding the strange paralysis which has made sick more than 400 men and boys. The paralysis had been diagnosed as liquor poisoning shortly after victims were overcome but when a little four-year-old girl died yesterday from the same symptoms officials said they doubted whether their diagnosis was correct.

The girl, suffering from paralysis of the lower limbs and later violently ill, died from convulsions. She was daughter of Andrew Roberts. Her parents maintained she had no liquors. Officials said the men were taken ill from drinking a poor drink of Jamaica ginger sold here in blind pigs and in bootleg places. Physicians attending the men said their condition was little changed and otherwise refused to comment regarding the disease.
