Graveside service was held 1 :00 PM, Saturday in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Should friends desire, memorials may be given to Alzheimers Foundation. Frances Jones Maurer was born July 7, 1916, in Monroe, La. She received her teaching degree from N.E. Louisiana College in 1934.

A resident of Edgecliff Village for over 40 years, she was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and a member of Edgecliff Village Garden Club. She was the first IBM keypunch operator for the state of Louisiana in Baton Rouge. She will be missed for her amazing ability to make friends wherever she traveled. She was preceded in death by sults of an accident near his home.

Mr. Prince was a lifelong resident of West Carroll Parish. He was employed as the Warden for the West Carroll Parish Sheriff's Office for the past 20 years. He had previously served as an auxiliary deputy for many years. He had worked as a mechanic for Scott Truck and Tractor for 15 years.

He also maintained a family farm. He was a charter member and a lifetime member of the West Carroll Chapter of the National Rifle Association. He was the President of the Goodwill Water Association. He was a member of the Oak Grove Lodge 284 F. A.M.

and had been a Past Master of the Pioneer Lodge. He was a member to the Barak Shrine. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Franklin Prince and Myrtle Beatrice Prince. He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Prince of Pioneer; son and daughter-in-law, Howard Prince, Jr. and Angela Prince of Angola, LA; son and his girlfriend, Karl Prince and April Graham of Angola, LA; daughter and son-in-law, Karen Christine Ross and David Ross of St.

Francisville, LA; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Pallbearers are: West Carroll Parish Sheriff's Deputies. Honorary Pallbearers are: Marvin Haley, Kirby Russell, James Kirby and Sidney Davis.
