Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Mrs. Denmon was born, April 4, 1945 in Goodwill, LA and passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in Monroe, L.A. After a long and courageous battle with breast cancer, Nina was taken swiftly and peacefully with her family at her side.

She graduated Forest High School and Louisiana State University. Nina was a mother, grandmother, loyal friend, homemaker, and a caterer favorite among locals for many years. She was a devout Christian and active member of North Monroe Baptist Church. Previously, she was a member of both First Baptist of West Monroe, and Broadmoor Baptist of Shreveport. Her faith in the Lord and her many visits from fellow church members and friends gave her tremendous peace these last few months.

Mrs. Denmon was preceded in death by parents, Oliver Elizabeth Sanders of Goodwill, LA. Survivors include her children, Randy Denmon, John Denmon, Karen Denmon Graves; and their father, Terry Denmon; along with son-in-law, Steve Graves; brother and wife, Billy and Kathy Sanders; sister and husband, Bonnie and Glen Canoy; grandchildren, Denmon Graves, Hunter Pardon, and Peyton Graves; and seventeen loving nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be John Ross, Reggie Owens, Dr. David Barker, Greg Lolley, Marty Bailey, and Jan Hopkins.

Gerry was born March 15, 1939 and passed away November 14, 2010. She was 71 and was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 57 years. Geraldine is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Malcolm Sanderson, her daughter, Juawanna Burson and husband Jerry; her son, Stephen Sanderson; and her daughter Lori Andregg and husband Nick. "Grammy" also leaves behind her most precious joys-her grandson Blane and her granddaughter Taylor. She has also left behind two special sistersin-law, Shirley Edwards and Melba Sills, along with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to name.

Mrs. Ritchie is preceded in death by her parents, Harrison Dye and Marie Lane; daughter, Susan Marie Brown; sister, Linda Bourque Martin; and granddaughter, Rebecca Elizabeth Dodd. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Monroe and a member of Watson Church in West Monroe. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Newton Johnson. She is survived by her children, R. Elaine Johnson, Robert Wayne Johnson, Jimmy Lane Johnson and his wife, Cathy, and James Glen Johnson and his wife, Mary; seven grandchildren; four great -grandchildren; a brother, Sam Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a resident of Winnsboro, a farmer, served with the United States Army during WWII and a member of First Baptist Church Winnsboro.

He was preceded in death by brothers Johnny Paul Jefferson and Gus Gwin; sister Odell Fortenberry; half sisters Viola Emery and Sallie Nichols. Survivors include his wife Brenda Bryant Gwin; stepdaughter Anna Beth Whittington and husband Robert of Baton Rouge; grandchildren Marshall, Tucker, Laurel, Thomas and Matthew Whittington; special great great nephews William Carter Gwin and James Eli -Fortenberry; brothers Lovie Gwin of Bloomington, California, Blanchard Gwin and wife Joann of Natchez, MS; sisters Maudie Lee Arn and husband Gene of Biloxi, MS, Bea Dixon and husband Oscar of Orange, TX, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Mike Dixon, James Fortenberry, Jamie Fortenberry, Matt Gwin, Gordon Roach and Adron Walker. Larry was born on July 22, 1943, in Washington, D.C., to Alline and the late Lawrence "Earl" Weems. Surrounded by his family, Larry passed away on 1 November 23, 2010 after a brief illness. Beloved son, father, and grandfather he is remembered for his faith in God, generosity, friendship and most of all his love of family. He gave his life to Christ at an early age and served in many capacities at First United Methodist Church of West Monroe, First Baptist of West Monroe and Emmanuel Baptist. He taught his children the value of a close relationship and life devoted to serving Jesus Christ.

Larry was an avid outdoorsman and his favorite times were spent hunting and fishing with his son, grandsons and friends. He loved coaching children and devoted many years to Dixie Youth Baseball and WOLFBA football. He served on the Board of Dixie Youth Baseball and was extremely excited when their dream of a new complex came to a reality. Larry served his country as an Air Force Medic in Vietnam. He was the owner of Security Acceptance in Monroe for many years and had a second career as a pipeline supervisor.

Larry was lucky enough to have had two great loves in his life. He was preceded in death by both his wives, Dorothy "Elaine" Weems and Marcella Crosser Weems. He was also preceded by his father and friend Lawrence "Earl" Weems and sister Rebecca "Becky" Sue Clark. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mrs. Alline Skains Weems; his children Pam Mitchell and husband Jay, Nicole 'Bryant and husband Billy and Butch Weems and Marcia Weems; his grandchildren Elaina Nicole and Mary Allison Mitchell; Christopher and Sarah Elizabeth O'Bryant and Larry Wayne "Hunter" Weems.

Also very loved by "Papaw" are Tracy Booth and husband Jim and their children Whitney, Britney, Jamie and Michael Booth; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends Danny Ford and Jerri Harris. Serving as Pallbearers are his very dear friends "Brother" David' Ashcraft, David Hall, Dan Ford; second sons Stevie Frost and Damon Wilhite; and his oldest grandson Christopher O'Bryant. She was an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church and was a retired supervisor with Louisiana State Department of Family Services and Project Independence.

Mrs. May was a wonderful mother who loved to sew, cook, garden and fish. She was preceded in death by parents, Ervin and Evelyn Thigpen, brother Bennie Thigpen and a sister Ruth May. Mrs. May is survived by her husband, Theo May; daughters, Debbie Sims and husband Perk, Lisa Tolbird and husband Larry, Amy May, Jan Ritter and husband Randy; sister, Earlene May; grandchildren, Daniel and wife DeAnna Morrow and their children Malory and Noah, Brandon Morrow, Blake Tolbird, Todd Tolbird, Caroline and Connor Ritter; numerous nieces and nephews who knew her affectionately as "Aunt Pallbearers will be Daniel Morrow, Brandon Morrow, Blake Tolbird, Todd Tolbird, Randy Ritter, Perk Sims and Connor Ritter.
