According to Deputy R.V.

Wallace, a vehicle apparently ran into and broke the gas meter at 4109 Church Monroe. Wallace said residents on the same block as the house with the broken meter were askeu to leave their homes for 10 to 15 minutes as a "precautionary measure." Costello left this world for a better place with his Savior. Many things have changed since that sad, sad day; November 1 5, 2000. Time has marched on. Mr.

Rogers died on November 13, 2005, at Richland Medical Center after a brief illness. Mr. Rogers was born on May 3, 1922. Mr. Rogers was a Navy Veteran of World War, II.

He was a retired Auto Mechanic and enjoyed life and family. Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Hansen Rogers, and parents, Charles and Willie Mae Etier Rogers.
